Poor Decision Making VS. Bad Luck

There's this huge golf tournament coming up at the end of this month. This tournament is called the DHL Championship. There is also a major member-guest tournament called the Sta. Elena Cup. Both these events fall under the same date.

It's going to be my first time to play the Sta. Elena cup, as I am now in the process of becoming a Junior Member of this club. I would be able to invite a guest as my partner in this tourney. My first choice for my partner was Louie Dacuadao. However, he had to pass because he wouldn't be in town during those dates. And so I got my friend, Hanson So as my partner.

Today at lunch time I got a text from Louie saying he's free to play the Sta. ELena cup. I told him I already have a partner. I also told him that the DHL tourney is on the same date as the Elena Cup. He told me he'd rather play Elena Cup, and asked if I could find him a partner.

Called my mom up to ask if she could find a partner for my friend Louie. She then texted her friend Tita Therese. Tita Therese liked the idea of being partnered with Louie Dacudao. Tita Therese Confirmed.

I texted louie saying that I found a partner for him already. He texted back saying he'll have to confirm his schedule with me tomorrow. I asked him what was up. Apparently, since he's a member of the Del Monte Golf team, he might have to play the DHL Tourney instead.

Now my mom's mad at me.
