I played the last two days in canlubang golf. comon. shot 80 and 81. Kanina lang I broke my driver. The head came off a I hit the golf ball. The head itself travelled 60 yard down the middle of the fairway.

Bad Round today

Course was in perfect summer shape. Wind was stronger than average. Greens were super slick.

I made a 10 on the Par 5 26th hole in Sta. Elena.
Quintuple bogey.

The LAWs of the Golf Swing

About LAWs of Golf - No two golfers are built the same, have the same abilities or backgrounds. LAWs of Golf was developed based on this knowledge and enables each golfer to develop his or her own customized swing, based on their unique characteristics.

The system and the drills associated with it, allows each person to find his or her own perfect posture and grip, stance width, ball position, swing plane and swing length and as a result maximize their play and enjoyment of the game.

LAWs begins with three swing models: Leverage, Arc and Width. These models and the corresponding teaching models are the culmination of many years of research, observation and trial and error. Each model describes a set of general characteristics and tendencies for that particular group.

Leverage golfers are most likely to have average to above average flexibility, an average chest size and arm and leg length proportional to their body size. Arc players are most likely to have above average to excellent flexibility, be unusually tall and have long legs and arms. Players with a thicker chest and shorter arms and legs with less flexibility are generally width players.

The key for every player is to match the timing and speed of the hips and the hands so that they are in the proper position at impact. Drills based on these LAWs of Golf have been developed that include putting, chipping, pitching and bunker drills as well as the full swing. As a result, the LAWs of Golf has allowed numerous players from beginner to tournament player to customize their game.

I saw my friend from florida. he was playing the HONDA CLASSIC which is a PGA TOUR EVENT. SO i started calling them again

Poor Decision Making VS. Bad Luck

There's this huge golf tournament coming up at the end of this month. This tournament is called the DHL Championship. There is also a major member-guest tournament called the Sta. Elena Cup. Both these events fall under the same date.

It's going to be my first time to play the Sta. Elena cup, as I am now in the process of becoming a Junior Member of this club. I would be able to invite a guest as my partner in this tourney. My first choice for my partner was Louie Dacuadao. However, he had to pass because he wouldn't be in town during those dates. And so I got my friend, Hanson So as my partner.

Today at lunch time I got a text from Louie saying he's free to play the Sta. ELena cup. I told him I already have a partner. I also told him that the DHL tourney is on the same date as the Elena Cup. He told me he'd rather play Elena Cup, and asked if I could find him a partner.

Called my mom up to ask if she could find a partner for my friend Louie. She then texted her friend Tita Therese. Tita Therese liked the idea of being partnered with Louie Dacudao. Tita Therese Confirmed.

I texted louie saying that I found a partner for him already. He texted back saying he'll have to confirm his schedule with me tomorrow. I asked him what was up. Apparently, since he's a member of the Del Monte Golf team, he might have to play the DHL Tourney instead.

Now my mom's mad at me.

Long weekend

Something I picked up from my Davao experience... I haven't stopped drinking since. Oh yeah my throat is hurting because of all the yosi I've smoked. I played golf with my sponsor (Daddy) with the worst hang over. Pretty impressive huh? hehe

What I've learned

What I have learned from playing with the country's number one golfer is that golf is truly just a game. I observed how he just played the game. It looked so simple, so cold, so effortless. Yet his score just went lower and lower. Play the Game, that's all there is to it. Q.

In a few Hours...

I will get the chance to play with the up and coming new star of Philippine golf. His name is Juvic Pagunsan. Galing itong guy na ito. Hope I can learn a few neat tricks from him. Q!
